It’s Not About You :

Have you ever wanted to write a an article about something but you didn’t because you think don’t know enough about it. You think you’re not an expert and why on Earth would anyone listen to you??

What if you didn’t have to know everything?? What if you didn’t have to be an expert on everything??

Writing an article is not about talking at your reader, it’s about talking with your reader. It’s not only about providing them with information but it’s also about getting them to think. Making them feel emotions and getting them to reflect.

Your blog was never about you to begin with. It was always about your community, your audience.

People don’t want information thrown at them using words that make you seem perfect. They don’t expect you to know everything.

Writing an article is about striking a conversation with your fellow readers. It’s about being empathetic and compassion.

I know it’s so easy to feel insecure and self-conscious. It’s so easy to think, “how does this portray me??” Or “What will people think if I say this??”

It’s so easy to focus solely on you and your insecurities instead of focusing on your reader.

I’m not saying to not focus on what you say or not doing enough research for your articles in the name of “I don’t have to be an expert.”

All I’m saying is that your blog is not about you, it’s about your readers. You are writing for them.

It’s really not about how many followers you have or how many likes you get per post. It’s about the person on the other side of the screen. In this case, this is about you.

Have yourself a great day. See you next time.

P.S I won’t say I love you because it’s probably too early for I love you and I don’t want to creep you out.
