How To Fall Asleep In Less Than 2 Minutes :

As promised I’m delivering, this is the first article on my sleep series.

This goes out to all my insomniac people out there. We are in this together. If you have trouble sleeping like I used to then it might be best for you to stick around.

Getting enough sleep is extremely important for your health. It is one of the pillars of health. Sleeping is not as easy as it sounds, sometimes you close your eyes and nothing happens. You just can’t fall asleep. I know that too well that is why I present to you this amazing technique.

I heard about this technique a long time ago on a YouTube video but I cannot find that video. I don’t know who to credit this technique to.

*Sigh*

•Firstly you get in bed and try to get as comfortable as possible. When you are comfortable you move on to the next step.

• Then, you relax all your face muscles. Completely relax your face, make sure your mouth is relaxed, your eyes are relaxed and your cheeks (not those cheeks!) Are relaxed.

• Next, relax your arms. Get your arms in a comfortable position. You should really start getting really sleepy now, or might even fall asleep. If you’re not asleep yet, do the next thing.

• Completely relax your legs. Get your legs in a comfortable position and feel them get lighter. This should really do the trick but if it doesn’t and you are still awake, do the last step.

• Lastly, breathe. Focus on your breathing. Relax your mind and be in like a meditative state. You can do some breathing exercising, I’m no expert at that so I’ll let you do your own research.

So there you have it guys, that is what I do to fall asleep in less than 2 minutes (exaggeration).

If sleeping is like a real problem in your life then by all means go and visit your doctor. That, right there is self-care.
