Sometimes we start things and we don’t finish them.

I don’t know why I am doing this but I just thought of writing about all the books that I didn’t finish reading this year and I was like great, let’s do that so now here we are.

1. The rudest book ever by Shwetabh Gangwar

I think this is the first book I read this year or rather tried reading this year. Honestly, I have no idea what happened. I was serious about reading this book, I even started taking notes. I really don’t know what happened. The book was amazing and rude as the title suggests.

I love when people swear in English so I have no idea why I didn’t finish reading this book.

2. Rich Dad poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki :

I know, I know I am super ashamed.

3. The procrastination equation by Piers Steel:

I guess I just procrastinated reading the book that was supposed to help me stop procrastinating. I know the irony, but it’s pretty funny.

I actually know why I didn’t finish reading this book. I solved my problem of procrastination before I finished reading the book. I know what you’re thinking, “If I did stop procrastinating then shouldn’t I have finished reading the book?”

I don’t know maybe but once I was no longer procrastinating I didn’t see the need to continue reading the book.

3. How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie :

Firstly, the hype around this book made me have unrealistic expectations about it. So when I finally did start reading it it didn’t live up to those expectations.

Secondly, I got so busy I forgot that I was reading it.

4. Why we get sick by Benjamin Bikman :

I literally have nothing to say about this one expect why do we get sick?? I guess I would know the answer to that if I read the damn book!!

5. Thinking is overrated by Niels Birbaumer :

I don’t know why this book is on the list. I mean I love this book and I enjoyed reading it and it was discussing a phenomenon that I wasn’t familiar with. I really loved this book, I mean the parts that I did read.

I guess the timing that I read it in was just messed up. I picked up the book after reading One in three by Tess Stimson. The time was just not right, to move from that book to this one.

These are the books that I didn’t finish reading. Some I still want to give them a read in the future, some I’m no longer interested in.
