Mental health is one of those things that we all know exists and it affects our lives but we are so dedicated to ignoring it until it becomes too much. You don’t have to have depression or to have suffered intense trauma to start taking care of your mental health. Just as you don’t need to literally be dying to start taking care of your physical health.
Mental health is a broad thing and I have written about it in the past but today I just wanted to remind how important it is by writing quotes that I’m hoping you relate to or that will make you feel better.

“The gentlest reminder : You might not need to read another self-help book, attend another training, or bookmark another Instagram post as much as you need to listen to, trust and practice what you already know. What if the answer you’re looking for is actually within you already?”
Lisa Olivera

“Start listening to the way you talk to yourself. These interactions will tell you how well you know yourself, how much you respect yourself, and what boundaries you are lacking.”
Sara Kuburic

“The best thing you could do is master the chaos in you. You are not thrown into the fire, you are the fire.”
Mama Indigo

“Having a low opinion of yourself is not modesty. It’s self-destruction.”

“The only journey is the journey within.”
Rainer Maria Rilke

“True suffering is being trapped in your own head.”
Adam Snowflake

“Don’t let your struggle become your identity.”

“You don’t have to be positive all the time. It’s perfectly okay to feel sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, scared and anxious. Having feelings doesn’t make you a negative person. It makes you human.”
Lori Deschene

“Change what you can, manage what you can’t.”
Raymond McCauley

“Mental health affects every aspect of your life. It’s not just this neat little issue you can put into a box.”

“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was ending, he turned into a butterfly.”
Anonymous proverb

“The bravest thing I ever did was continuing my life when I wanted to die.”
Juliette Lewis

“Take your time healing, as long as you need. Nobody else knows what you’ve been through. How could they know how long it will take to heal you?”
Abertoli
Your mental health is so much more important than being productive, than your job, school and what other people think. Your mental health truly does affect every aspect of your life. It’s not something that you can just put away and only open when it suits you. As I always say, take good care of yourself.
And as I also always say, stay amazing and curious. Till next time♥️♥️.
